“I don’t know why you say goodbye, I say hello.” – The Beatles

I wave.  I give this chin nod.  I always say hello to fellow runners and the cars that pass me by.  It’s what I do!

Running on the trail…

Strangers.  Waves.  Chin nods.  Waves.  Chin nods.

Running on the trail…

I’m running.  I look ahead.  I see my neighbor and her dog… “Hello.”  I turn around and join her on the remainder of her run.

Running on the trail…

“Hello.”  I turn around and look behind me.  It’s a friend I’ve known since kindergarten.  “Why don’t I join you..” I say.  I do and we catch up.

Running in the new neighborhood…

I wave as the cars pass me by.

I say hello.  Hello.  Hello.

    • This is actually a history of several runs, memories…

I ran yesterday in my neighborhood, My oldest daughter wanted to accompany me, but it was too late, too long of a run… 😦

There was some waving at the neighbors and passing cars…
